The 2 Series Gran Coupe is BMW’s entry-level smallest four-door sedan, which will be assembled locally at its Chennai India plant. The car will rival against its peers, such as Mercedes-Benz A-class and the Audi A3 sedans. The company had earlier started accepting bookings for the sedan for a token amount of ₹50,000.
The car made its global debut in November 2019 and is a Made-in-India product.
