IndiGo Airline’s profits have grown 4 times in a single year!

IndiGo, the airline with the biggest market share in India, has observed a total gain of Rs 1,304 crore in the fiscal that ended on 31st March 2015.
The profit of the company has grown by four times; its net profit was Rs 317 crore a year earlier.
The revenue has gone up from Rs 11,447 crore to Rs 14,320 crore and the capacity in available seat kilometres (ASKs) swell from 29.9 million to 35.3 million.
IndiGo filed its results with India’s aviation regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
The carrier operates 648 flights every day with a fleet of 97 planes. IndiGo has also filed its pre-IPO prospectus with the capital markets regulator Sebi and aims to list later this year or early next year.
