As many as nine teams participated in the World Cup that was held in Australia and New Zealand. This was also Sachin Tendulkar’s first world cup.

Tri-colour in the front-2003
The Indian jersey underwent a massive transformation in 2003 and was loved by most fans. The shade of blue became a little darker and the yellow colour was nearly eliminated. What made it different was the Indian tricolour and ‘India’ written in yellow on the front side of the jersey.
