The Election Commission has declared elections for 5 states, including Rajasthan is all set for its turn in the democratic spotlight.

Voting in Rajasthan is scheduled for November 23, and results will be declared on December 3 along with the other 4 states.

Rajasthan has 5.2 crores voters, Out of which 2.73 crores are male, and 2.52 crores are female. Everyone is included, showing how different people are part of our state's democracy.

The state has 200 assembly constituencies. Some are reserved, like 34 for SC (Scheduled Caste), and 25 for ST (Scheduled Tribe).

Guess what? More than 22 lakh young people will vote for the first time! Also, we have 17,241 elders who are 100 years old or more.

There are 51,756 polling stations to vote. 10,415 are in urban areas, and 41,341 are in rural areas.

Out of the 200 constituencies, Congress holds a strength of 107 MLAs, supported by 13 independent MLAs and 1 MLA from RLD. In opposition, BJP has a strength of 70 MLAs.
