A recent study by Onebed has highlighted India's sleep challenges, ranking it seventh globally. Here are the top 10 countries facing the most sleep issues, determined based on their sleep duration, air quality, noise pollution, and Google search volumes for sleep issues.

10. Israel​

Israel rounds out the top ten (0.775), dealing with poor air quality and moderate noise pollution, resulting in an average of 6.60 hours of sleep.

9. Brazil​

Brazil ranks ninth (0.782), facing moderate noise pollution and stress, with an average sleep duration of 6.67 hours.

​8. South Korea​

Eighth-ranked (0.783), South Korea experiences high stress (8.02) and noise pollution, contributing to poor sleep with an average duration of 6.03 hours.

7. India​

India ranks seventh (0.798) with the highest noise pollution (78.40) and significant stress levels, resulting in an average of 6.58 hours of sleep and high sleep-related search volumes.

6. Singapore​

With a score of 0.802, Singapore faces high noise pollution (65) and stress, resulting in sleep issues despite an average sleep duration of 6.57 hours.

5. Mexico

Mexico ranks fifth (0.815), with the worst air quality (103) and substantial noise pollution, leading to sleep problems and an average sleep duration of 6.62 hours.

4. United Kingdom​

The U.K. is fourth (0.837), where moderate noise pollution and stress levels result in an average of 6.8 hours of sleep, despite considerable sleep-related search volumes.

3. Philippines​

With a score of 0.879, the Philippines ranks third, facing significant noise pollution (55.60) and stress, leading to an average sleep duration of 6.13 hours.

2. United States​

The U.S. ranks second (0.951), with the lowest average sleep duration (5.7 hours) and the highest Google search volumes for sleep-related problems, coupled with high noise pollution and stress levels.

With a composite score of 0.987, Australia ranks first for poor sleep habits, averaging 6.24 hours of sleep. High search volumes for "sleep deprivation" and noise pollution contribute to the nation's sleep issues.
