WB govt forms teams for surveillance support, monitoring of treatment at COVID hospitals

Kolkata, May 9 () The West Bengal Health Departmenton Saturday formed teams to support surveillance andmonitoring of treatment at five hospitals treating COVID-19patients in the city.

The team members will pay regular visits to thesehospitals and send reports to the department, the stategovernment said in an order.

The department has also set up a dedicated help linefor issues regarding the non-availability of PPEs and othersupplies.

The feedback and suggestions will be duly recorded andacted upon by the state government for appropriate remedialmeasures, the order said.

The West Bengal government has also constituted a teamfor guidance on containment activities in different districtsof the state. SCHRBT RBT
