Two more Covid-19 deaths in TN,slight dip in cases as 447 test positive

Chennai, May 14(): Two persons died due toCOVID-19 in Tamil Nadu, takng the death toll to 66 while 447people have tested positive for the virus on Thursday, statehealth minister C Vijaya Baskar said.

With the fresh additions, the cumulative tally ofcoronavirus cases has increased to 9,674, he said.

After reporting more than 500 cases for nearly 10days, Tamil Nadu has witnessed a slight dip in the number ofpositive cases registered.

A total of 509 people had tested positive onWednesday.

On May 12, the state reported 716 cases while onMay 11 it was 798.
