Tripura reports 322 new COVID-19 cases, four more fatalities

Agartala, Oct 4 () At least 322 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in Tripura, pushing the tally in the state to 26,874, a health department official said on Sunday.

The death toll rose to 290 with four more people succumbing to the infection, he said.

West Tripura district, of which state capital Agartala is a part, has accounted for 157 of the 290 COVID-19 deaths.
Tripura currently has 5,174 active coronavirus cases, while 21,387 people have recovered from the disease.
Twenty-three patients have migrated to other states, the official said.
According to the official, 513 patients were discharged from G B Pant hospital on Saturday, the state's main referral hospital for COVID-19.
