COVID-19: These are the most affected cities in India with the highest number of cases

  • India surpassed the 3.8 lakh mark recording 3,82,315 fresh COVID-19 cases and 3,780 new fatalities in the last 24 hours.
  • India is now the second-worst COVID-19 affected country in the world with an overall 2,06,65,148 cases and 2,26,172 fatalities.
  • These are the worst-affected cities in India with highest number of COVID-19 cases.
As of Wednesday (May 5) morning, India surpassed the 3.8 lakh mark recording 3,82,315 fresh COVID-19 cases and 3,780 new fatalities in the last 24 hours.

India is now the second-worst COVID-19 affected country in the world with overall 2,06,65148 cases and 2,26,172 fatalities.

Maharashtra with 48,22,902 cases remains the worst-affected state of the country followed by Kerala (17,01,980), Karnataka (16,90,934), Uttar Pradesh (13,68,183), Tamil Nadu (12,49,292), Delhi (12,32,942), Andhra Pradesh (11,84,028), West Bengal (8,98,533), Chhattisgarh (7,87,486) and Rajasthan (6,68,221).
