Defence forces in India are aggressively building quarantines across the country after a massive outbreak of a coronavirus. Since the outbreak, the Indian government took a variety of measures to contain the spread of the virus. It suspended all existing visas till April 15 except for select categories. Moreover, all incoming travelers who have visited China, Italy, Korea, France, Spain, Greece or Germany in the past are asked to quarantine themselves for at least 14 days. More than a million passengers have been screened at the airports, according to the health ministry.
If the cases keep on increasing at the same level, India might face shortage of hospital beds. The defence forces are building more quarantines to ensure that travellers do not mix with others.

Apart from this, there are two more facilities operated by the Air Force near Delhi-NCR.
Army facility in Jaisalmer, Jodhpur and Jhansi
The Ministry of Defence has set up seven more facilities in India to fight the new coronavirus. The hubs at --- Suratgarh, Jaisalmer, Jhansi, Jodhpur, Deolali, Kolkata and Chennai -- have a cumulative capacity of 5,000 people.
These quarantines are specially set up for Indians being airlifted from affected countries. As many as 400 Indians to be brought from Iran this week will be shifted to the Jaisalmer facility.

Indian Navy set up isolation facilities at INHS Asvini at Mumbai The Indian Navy set up an isolation camp at its INHS Asvini in Mumbai to treat coronavirus patients. The Indian Navy is also considering opening similar facilities in Kochi and Vizag. Moreover, all naval hospitals have “fever clinics” that admit people with high fever who are yet to be diagnosed.
Indian Navy has also set up a quarantine camp at Ghatkopar in Mumbai to monitor 44 Indian citizens who were evacuated from Iran.
Isolation wards in Safdarjung Hospital Delhi
The Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi set up a two-storey isolation facility to treat patients with novel coronavirus. According to media reports, the ward is “no less than a luxury hotel” and the hospital allows access to phones and video streaming services.

The Indian government asked 25 other hospitals — both government and private — to set up isolation wards.
Hyderabad, Kolkata, Goa and other places with isolation wards
Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad set up a facility to test the virus after 20 suspected cases were reported. The Telangana government also instructed to set up isolation wards across 13 districts.
In Goa, the government set up a 10-bed isolation ward at Community Health Centre, Chicalim, Primary Health Centre, Sankhalim, and TB hospital in Margao. The ID&BG Hospital in Kolkata also set up an isolation ward to treat coronavirus patients.
Quarantine facilities at three Delhi hotels — Lemon Tree, Red Fox and IBIS

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday announced that three hotels in Delhi — Lemon Tree, Red Fox and IBIS — will have quarantine facilities. He also said religious, social, cultural and political gatherings comprising more than 50 people will not be allowed in the national capital till March 31 in view of the novel coronavirus outbreak.
