“The portal will bring transparency in the Indian Panchayat system while the scheme will end property disputes, by mapping village properties through the use of drones,” said Modi while interacting with Sarpanchs from across the nation on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Diwas.
The portal and app are part of an initiative of the Ministry of Panchayati Raj. It aims to provide Gram Panchayats with a single interface to prepare and implement their Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP).
