MP registers 72 fresh Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

In possibly the biggest jump over 24 hours, Madhya Pradesh recorded 72 fresh cases of coronavirus cases sending the total spiralling to 385 on Wednesday. Of these 40 new cases were reported from Indore district which now has a total of 213, say the health department sources.
According to officials, nine new cases reported in Bhopal in 24-hours, the number of COVID-19 patients in the city reached 94.
The death toll due to coronavirus in the state now stands at 29. In Indore alone 21 persons have died so far. Besides five in Ujjain, one each in Bhopal, Khargone and Chhindwara, said health officials.
With cases of infection being reported from two more districts of the state - Khandwa and Raisen - on Wednesday, the pandemic has now covered 16 districts. Morena and Jabalpur have reported one fresh case each, Gwalior and Ujjain two each, Barwani nine, Hoshangabad, Vidisha, Raisen and Khandwa recording one case each while one patient is from Uttar Pradesh.
