MP govt will follow Centre's guidelines on lockdown: CM

Bhopal, Apr 14 () With Prime Minister Narendra Modion Tuesday extending the national lockdown to fightcoronavirus till May 3, the Madhya Pradesh government has saidthat it will draft a plan on the implementation after theCentre issues guidelines on Wednesday.

Announcing that the lockdown in the state will remainin force till May 3, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhansaid, "Prime Minister has guided the entire country. Thecountry and Madhya Pradesh will follow the path shown by thePrime Minister to defeat the coronavirus pandemic".

He said the state government will prepare its strategyafter the Centre issues the guidelines and added that thelockdown will remain in force in Madhya Pradesh till May 3.

Madhya Pradesh has so far reported 730 COVID-19 caseswith 50 deaths. ADU MASNSK NSK
