MP: BSF officer, kin arrested for violating lockdown in Jhabua

Jhabua (MP), Apr 13 () A Border Security Forcesub-inspector and his family members were booked on Sunday fortravelling from Indore in Madhya Pradesh to Ahmedabad inGujarat during the lockdown without permission, Superintendentof Police Vinit Jain said.

The BSF officer did not stop the vehicle when asked todo so near Machhalia check post and was intercepted afterofficials relayed the information to personnel at Kalidevipolice station ahead, said Jain.

"BSF sub-inspector Rajkishore Choudhary, a resident ofAhmedabad, and five of his family members were in the car. Ona complaint by the tehsildar, those inside the car, except athree-year-old child, were arrested under IPC, Motor VehiclesAct and Disaster Management Act.
