Maha: Nanded records its first COVID-19 case

Aurangabad, Apr 22 () A 65-year-old man testedpositive for coronavirus in Maharashtra's Nanded city,becoming the first COVID-19 patient in the district, anofficial said on Wednesday.

The reports of the patient, who is a resident ofPeerburhanpur, came out positive late on Tuesday night, civilsurgeon Dr Nilkanth Boshikar said.

The patient's travel history was being investigated,he added.

Meanwhile, three more people tested positive forcoronavirus in Aurangabad, taking the count in the district to38, an official said.

At least five COVID-19 patients have succumbed to theinfection in the district, while 15 have recovered, he added. AWARU ARU
