Lockdown: Become anti corona police, Latur collector to kids

Latur, Apr 11 () In a bid to get people to adhereto lockdown norms, the collector of Latur in Maharashtra hasasked children to become "anti corona police" or ACP andquestion elders when they are about to step out of homes andstop them if the trip is not necessary.

Collector G Sreekanth on Saturday said theadministration had taken several steps to enforce the lockdownbut some people were still coming on to the roads withoutadequate reason.

"Children in every house must become anti coronapolice or ACP to stop elders from going out of the housewithout reason during the lockdown," Sreekanth said, addingthat in his own household, daughter Shaswati had taken on therole of ACP.

"This morning, she asked me the reason for my goingout and also told me to wear a mask or handkerchief whilestepping out," the collector said. CORBNM BNM
