The Karnataka government has issued guidelines for all the international, national and local travellers arriving from the different parts of the country. Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri allowed domestic flights to operate in the country from May 25.

This comes as Karnataka reports seventy-five new cases of COVID-19 taking the total number of infections in the state to 2,493.

With 47 deaths and 809 discharges, there are 1,635 active corona cases in the state, the department said in its mid-day bulletin. Twenty-eight patients have been discharged so far on May 28.

The new guidelines listed for international travel are as follows:

Home Quarantine for 14 days (exempted from 7 days IQ)

Exempted Category: Pregnant women, Children below 10 and below, senior citizens 80yrs and above and Terminally ill patients (caner, chronic kidney disease, stroke)




Post Covid19 test, will be sent to home quarantine for 14 days

Note: If any symptoms develop during Institutional Quarantine or Home Quarantine immediately test will be conducted
