• Hours before his landing Trump tweeted in Hindi on his way to India, saying he is eager to visit the country and would be soon meeting all of them.
  
• Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted and hugged Donald Trump as they landed at the airport.

US President Donald Trump arrived in India with his wife Melania Trump. He is accompanied by his daughter Ivanka, son-in-law Jared Kushner and the top brass of his administration.


Hours before his landing, Trump tweeted in Hindi on his way to India, saying he is eager to visit the country and would be soon meeting all of them.

The two-day visit in India will include a visit to Sabarmati, ‘Namaste Trump’ event at Motera Stadium, a banquet at the President’s house, and a meeting with CEOs of Indian companies.
