What documents will you need to apply for VTP?
- Travellers should possess a digital proof for full vaccination against COVID-19.
- They are also required to take two COVID-19 tests. The first one has to be taken two days before the departure date, while the second one has to be taken after arriving at the Changi airport (travellers will have to keep them under isolation till the results are found to be negative).
- A COVID-19 insurance policy is also required for short-term visitors. All short-term visitors travelling to Singapore under VTL, must purchase a suitable travel insurance with a minimum coverage of $30,000 against COVID-19 related medical charges. Travellers may be insured with a Singapore or overseas-based insurer.
- A valid visa for short-term visitors. Foreign short term visitors holding travel documents that require a visa to enter Singapore, must apply for a visa.
- Open the official website of Singapore Government Agency and click on ‘Create New VTP Application’.
- Then, enter your name and your active email address, a one-time password (OTP) will be generated.
- Enter the OTP and captcha displayed on your screen.
- Add your travel details — country/region of departure as India (which will be visible on Monday after 6pm) and intended date of travel.
- Then enter all your personal information including your passport number and then click on ‘submit’.
