Five new COVID-19 cases in Nashik

Nashik, Apr 12 () Five more persons have testedpositive for coronavirus in Nashik, taking the total number ofsuch cases in the Maharashtra district to 20, an official saidon Sunday.
All the new patients, including three females and twomales, are from Malegon town, the district administrationofficial said.

Out of the 53 swab samples sent for testing, resultsof five came out positive around Saturday midnight and 48 werenegative, he said.
Earlier, one COVID-19 death was reported from thedistrict on April 8.
Meanwhile, the first coronavirus patient from thedistrict, a 30-year-old man belonging to Pimpalgaon Najikvillage near Lasalgaon in Niphad taluka, has recovered, theofficial said.
