Earthquake of magnitude 3.5 jolts Delhi-NCR

A massive earthquake shook Delhi and neighbouring areas on April 12. According to India Meteorological Department, epicentre of the earthquake in East Delhi. The magnitude of the earthquake was 3.5 on richter scale. It occured around 5.45 pm. The depth of the earthquake was 8 kilometer.




Some of the residents said they felt entire building shaking because of the earthquake. The earthquake came at a time when millions of people were asked to stay home because of coronavirus lockdown in the entire country.

People took to twitter to post visuals of the earthquake.
