YouTuber Devraj Patel, who became popular after his “Dil se bura lagta hai” video went viral was killed in a road accident on Monday.

Patel, who hailed from Chhattisgarh was just 22 years old.

Patel was killed in a bike accident around 3:30 pm near Telibandha at Agarsen Dham on a national highway in Raipur city.

The accident reportedly occurred when Patel was returning along with a friend after shooting for a YouTube video in New Raipur city.

The bike was reportedly being driven by Patel’s friend Rakesh Manhar. The handle collided with a truck and both of them fell, during which Patel unfortunately came under the truck’s rear wheel.

Patel created 108 videos, gaining over 4.4 lakh subscribers. His videos have over 88.8 crore views so far. He was also popular on Instagram, with over 60 thousand followers.

Devraj Patel appeared as a student in actor-comedian Bhuvan Bam’s web series Dhindora in 2021.

Patel had also created a video with Chhattisgarh’s chief minister Bhupesh Baghel. Bhagel took to Twitter on Monday to share a clip with Patel to express his condolences.
