COVID-19: Borders of four towns in Thane district sealed

Thane, Apr11() The district administration inMaharashtra's Thane district has sealed the borders ofAmbernath, Kulgaon-Badlapur, Murbad and Shahapur towns inlight of the coronavirus outbreak, an official said onSaturday.
In an order issued on Friday night, districtcollector Rajesh Narvekar said the borders of Ambernath,Kulgaon-Badlapur, Murbad and Shahapur were sealed foreffective control of the COVID-19 pandemic, he said.

As per the order, movement of people and vehicles,except those engaged in essential services, to and from thesetowns will be restricted.
