PhonePe Coronavirus insurance

Online payment and wallet app PhonePe partnered with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance to offer a new Coronavirus insurance policy. This policy covers hospitalisation costs up to ₹50,000 for private hospitals, tests, medication and consultation for a period of 30 days before and after hospitalisation.

The PhonePe Coronavirus insurance has been priced at ₹156 and users will be eligible to claim insurance only if they are diagnosed 15 days after purchasing the policy.
