Three patients also recovered from the virus during the day, Additional Chief Secretary R D Dhiman said.
There are 198 active cases in the state and 70 people have recovered so far, while six have died.
Over 66 percent of total active cases in the state are from Hamirpur (85) and Kangra (46) districts.
Of total 26 fresh cases, 15 were from Hamirpur, 7 from Bilaspur, three from Kangra and one from Una, he added.
A majority of them had returned from various places outside Himachal Pradesh.
Hamirpur continues to have the highest number of coronavirus cases as over 47 percent of the total active cases in the state are from the district. It has 85 active cases, while seven of the total 93 cases have recovered and one died.
Kangra has 46 active cases, followed by 15 in Una, 14 in Bilaspur, 11 in Solan, nine in Chamba, eight in Mandi, seven in Shimla, two in Sirmaur and one in Kullu, the Health Department official said. DJI TIR TIR
