2 train pax test positive, Goa COVID-19 count touches 15

Panaji, May 16 () The number of COVID-19 cases inGoa reached 15 late Saturday night after two passengers whohad alighted from a Delhi-Thiruvananthapuram train at Madgaonnear here tested positive for novel coronavirus, a healthofficial said.

Out of the 323 passengers on the train, samples of 129were tested and reports of two returned positive and theirsamples have been sent to Goa Medical College and Hospitalvirology lab for confirmation, he said.

"Rest of the samples from the train will be testedtonight. All passengers who alighted at Madgaon station havebeen taken to district hospital for testing. They will bequarantined at JN Stadium.

"Of the other five cases detected here today, two camefrom West Bengal, and the others from Haridwar, Mumbai andRatnagiri," he said. RPSBNM BNM
