105 new COVID-19 cases in Guj; state tally jumps to 871

Ahmedabad, Apr 16 () The total number ofcoronavirus cases in Gujarat rose to 871 after 105 more peopletested positive for the infection during the last 12 hours, ahealth official said on Thursday.
Among the new cases, 42 were reported fromAhmedabad,35 from Surat, eight from Anand, six from Vadodara, four eachfrom Banaskantha and Narmada, three from Rajkot, and one eachfrom Gandhinagar, Kheda and Panchmahal, state principalsecretary (health) Jayanti Ravi said.
