India will be at the receiving end due to US President Donald Trump’s policies but the Centre is going to wait and watch.
India’s Trade Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said there will be an impact of Trump's visa policies on India but the government will not rush to give its view.
"The issue of minimum wages may need congressional approval...we will not rush with a view on it. There will be an impact," said Sitharaman.

In the backdrop of new H1-B bill moved in the White House, the commerce ministry will meet Nasscom and companies with presence in the US after February 9.
"There's increasing protectionism that is being expressed in bilateral and multilateral talks," she said.
A new bill has been introduced in the US House of Representatives calling for more than doubling the minimum salary of H-1B visa holders to $130,000. The worst hit sectors will be Indian IT and pharma exporters.
