The only rule for free pancakes: customers need to dine in the IHOP location (no pancakes to-go) and are limited to one short stack of pancakes per customer.

While the pancakes are free, customers have the choice to donate money. The chain will be collecting donations towards three charities: Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and Shriners Hospitals for Children.

IHOP

IHOP is also selling an "Oreo Oh My Goodness Pancake" created by six-year-old Brody Simoncini, the winner of IHOP's Kid Chef Champion contest. From now until April 14, $1 from every stack of "Oreo Oh My Goodness Pancakes" sold will be donated to charity.

IHOP began its free pancake tradition in 2006.
