Poshtick is building an end to end solution for the people who lead busy lives and don’t have time to work out in the gyms or indulge in physical sports activities to keep themselves fit. Their range of products is a perfect combination between taste and health. And, some of their innovations are one of their kind and will be absolutely new for the Indian market. Its first product called ‘The Finge Box’ is a combination of fitness and binge, which is a calorie and portion defined mid-meal snacking solution.

Poshtick, a health and wellness startup, has raised a funding of $450,000 from two Noida-based HNIs, Bhavya Sharma and Amit Nagar. Poshtick has a combination of functional, nutritional and value added food product and offerings through which they provide end to end health solutions. The funds raised will primarily be utilized for product development, developing human resource capabilities and making an effective supply chain mechanism.

Poshtick has an interesting founding story. Pranav Sharma, a 23-year old commerce graduate from Delhi University, and working in the consulting firm, Grant Thornton, realized that due to shortage of time and his sedentary lifestyle, he had gained a lot of weight. When he joined a gym to get rid of the excess weight and be fit, he discovered that apart from gym workouts, it’s the diet that plays a more important role in weight management. He found out that 80% of what one eats determines one’s health, while the gym workouts account for only 20% of it.

Having discovered the truth, Pranav’s travails were far from over. He realized that there was a genuine lack of availability ofand accessibility to healthy as well as tasty food. And, thus the idea of Poshtick was born.

Poshtick app is in the development stage, and will be launched early next year. The company is building its online presence, and is planning to establish its retail presence in the metro cities like Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
