I won’t be directing Gangs of Wasseypur 3: Anurag Kashyap

Anurag Kashyap just let us in on something we’ve been dying to know. If you’re a die-hard Gangs of Wasseypur fan (just like us), we’ve got some scoop for you.

The answer to the question that we’ve all been waiting for has finally been given by Kashyap himself.

While speaking at The Coalition in Delhi, Kashyap finally put the rumours to rest and admitted that he won’t be helming Gangs of Wasseypur 3.

“For me, the story is over. Hence, it doesn’t make sense for me to direct the third part,” he explained.

But, don’t be disheartened just yet.

The director however hasn’t said no to the idea of there being a third part of the cult movie.

“Our writer is writing the plot for Gangs of Wasseypur 3. If the story turns out to be good, we might just make it. But, he’ll directing it, not me,” Kashyap added.

Well, all hope’s not lost, yet. Fingers crossed.
