I Stayed at Bryan Adams' Paris Home Listed on Airbnb & Here’s Why it Left an Impression

The Photo Studio in The Apartment

It is believed that Bryan was looking for a home in Paris with a glass roof that would let in lots of light to experiment with his photo shoots and this home fit the bill perfectly with its prime location.

Adams who has transitioned into a photographer in the past few years has also taken great pictures of the home, which is designed by French interior designer Tristan Auer.

Reportedly, Bryan and Tristan met in 2003 when Bryan was looking for a designer to decorate his vacation home in another country and as Bryan showed pictures that reflected his style, he found out that they were rooms that Tristan had designed.

Dining Room

We couldn’t help noticing that the glassware, porcelain dinnerware, steel flatware and even the coffee mugs were all Calvin Klien Home making us believe that indeed we are living at a home that’s been lived in and cherished by the musician who has also performed in India, previously.

Rustic Guest Room

The guest room features a rustic stone-and-plaster ceiling and walls making you feel as if you’re living in a cosy cave.

The bench was found at a flea market and adds character to the room.

"When You're Gone"

As we took a personal tour of the house, we couldn’t have guessed it was owned by a rock star of Bryan’s stature.

The 2300 sq ft. House is very minimalist and the only window to Adam’s taste is probably the huge bookshelf filled with books on Parisian culture, American lifestyle and photography manuals.

This 18th century carriage house on Ile Saint-Louis had red carpeting on the floors and walls that didn’t suit his persona and hence he got his favourite designer on board to revamp the entire home.

The overall design is white with little hits of color popping out which adds to its charm. The huge sofa in the drawing room is cozy and makes up for the lack of furniture near the shoot area which is pristine.

The entire home is technologically controlled whether it’s the security system, the lighting switches or even the kitchen.

Luxury peeps at us in bits and pieces with the apartment featuring a cocktail table, upholstery, floor lamp and rug by Christian Liaigre; the desk by Jean Prouve and the custom made book shelves are inspired by old-school French design.
