Hurry! SpiceJet introduces local fares at Rs 511 as part of 'anniversary sale' offer

In what came as a surprise on Tuesday, SpiceJet introduced local fares as low as Rs 511 for domestic sectors and Rs 2,111 for international sectors.

The three day sale launched today will be open till midnight, 19 May for domestic travel period 15 June 2016 to 30 September 2016 and international travel period 1 June 2016 to 20 July 2016. The sale is valid only for direct flights within SpiceJet's network.

The special offer is available on routes such Dehradun, Bagdogra, Udaipur, Jaipur, Goa, Port Blair, Kochi etc in the domestic network and Bangkok, Colombo, Dubai & Muscat in the international network.

"This airfare sale targets travel from 15 June onwards covering the end of the peak holiday season and the upcoming lean monsoon months. SpiceJet, AirAsia, GoAir and Indigo are offering tickets starting as low as INR 511/- on both domestic and international routes," said Sharat Dhall, president Yatra.com, talking to Economic Times adding the sale is “a bit unanticipated for this time of the year.."
