‘Humans of New York’ is in Pakistan and here is why every Indian should read what they are talking about

That 8-year-old girl in Pakistan, she has the same dream that a 10-year-old girl has in Delhi. That man born with paralysis waist down in Hunza Valley has the same courage and vigour that an amputee swimmer has in Himachal Pradesh.

Boundaries may have been drawn between India and Pakistan and there may be differences in perception about people in both the countries but we must revisit the fact that people on the other side of the de-facto border are our brothers and sisters only.

Humans of New York, which is in Pakistan currently, is posting stories on Facebook, which underlines the fact that they are like us.

Neither Indians nor Pakistanis want to wage a war and thwart ties.

We bring you some beautiful people from Pakistan who share their stories with HONY’s Brandon Stanton.

And we also bring stories from India (HONY had visited us in September) to show we are after all one!
