Hugh Jackman Is The New Brand Ambassador For Micromax

In a move that has stunned us as much as the next person, an Indian company has hired a Hollywood actor to be its brand ambassador, probably for the first time in this country. Whether it is a gimmick or would really churn out big numbers for Micromax, both here in India and internationally, is yet to be seen. But Hugh Jackman presenting an Indian brand is, indeed, big news.

Micromax has been chanting its slogan ‘nothing like anything’ for quite some time now and it seems that the company has followed its tradition while picking up its brand ambassador. Hugh will be seen in the new commercial of the brand and will promote the Micromax Canvas Turbo phone. The amount for which he has been hired to be the front face for Micromax is still unclear, but he might just be the most expensive person associated with the company till date.
