<p>Economists were looking for a reading of 72.6.</p>
<p>Today's report effectively nullifies the preliminary report.</p>
<p>In case you forgot, economists <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/michigan-consumer-confidence-march-2013-3">initially expected a March reading of 78.0</a>, down from 77.6 in February.</p>
