How to stream the Super Bowl
CBS is making Super Bowl 50 available to stream, not only online with PCs and tablets, but through connected devices, like the Apple TV, Chromecast, and Xbox One - for free.
And, for the first time ever, people streaming the game online will be treated to the same commercials as those watching on traditional TV (for better or for worse).
"All of the national ads that run on TV will also run on the livestream at the same time," a representative from CBS Interactive told Tech Insider. In addition to the game, the half-time show, pre-game show, and post-game show will all be streamed, too.
Here's how to stream the Super Bowl!
On a TV:
The best way to watch the Super Bowl, short of actually being there, is on a TV. And this year CBS is making it really easy to stream the big game through many connected devices.
You'll be able to stream it live on the Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, Xbox One, Android TV devices, and Amazon's Fire TV. Just download the CBS Sports app and start streaming.
If you don't have a streaming device, don't worry - you can, of course, use an antenna to watch the game the old-fashioned way.
On a PC or Tablet:
Just visit CBSSports.com on your computer or tablet. Simple!

On your smartphone:
If you're out and about, you may be able to catch the game on your smartphone...but only if you're a Verizon Wireless customer. If you have Verizon, you'll be able to watch the Super Bowl through the NFL Mobile App. You can get the iOS app here, Android app here, and Windows app here.
