It's easy to reset your Fitbit One to fix issues with the device.

Unlike many Fitbit trackers, the Fitbit One cannot be reset to its factory settings by a user, but there are still ways to help get a sluggish or malfunctioning Fitbit One working again.

If your Fitbit One isn't working properly, you can force it to restart. In most cases, this will get the device working properly once again, so you can get back to properly monitoring your step count, distance travelled, sleep quality, and more.

And you can pass your Fitbit One along to a new user without keeping all your data on the device. Once a Fitbit One is added to a new Fitbit account, the previous user's data will be erased and replaced with the new person's information.
