19-year-old Russhon Phillips - a sophomore football player at Lehigh University - was arrested early Wednesday morning for repeatedly kicking a Lehigh senior in the face during a drunken fight outside of a bar, student newspaper the Brown and White reports.

Four Lehigh football players were also suspended indefinitely from the team Wednesday. According to the Express-Times, it is not clear if the suspensions were related to Phillips' arrest and "none of the other people mentioned in court papers about the fight appear on Lehigh's football roster."

Phillips has been charged with aggravated assault, harassment, public drunkenness, and underage purchase of alcohol, among other charges, according to court papers cited by the Express-Times. The victim of the assault - 22-year-old Paul Graham - was treated for a facial fracture, concussion and cuts on his face.

Police said that Phillips did not initiate the fight, but did not say how or why it started. Witnesses said that the former football player kicked the other Lehigh student several times when Graham was lying on the ground.
