Here’s why Air India will be your preferred choice of flying

Festive season is almost here and you might be hoping for some good bargain from the airlines. Well, the state run Air India would give you a surprise. While most airlines put a condition applied offer with hand baggage passengers, Air India has extended its free check in luggage allowance to 25 kg and thereby, is luring a solid chunk of people who hate to compromise on baggage.

Most airlines offer 15 kg free baggage and Air India boasts about being an exception here. So when you travel with Air India from August 12, 2015 to February 7, 2016, stuff your luggage as much as you can.

"This offer is valid from August 12, 2015 to February 7, 2016, across all fare levels of Economy Class. Passengers who have booked before August 12, 2015, will also get the benefit of the increased allowance," said a release from the airline. Passengers travelling on Alliance Air flights and connecting to Air India flights and vice versa, will also be eligible for this offer.

"However, this offer will not be available for passengers travelling exclusively on Alliance Air flights," added the release.
