The green Apple Watch

Apple will start selling the Apple Watch in its retail stores in two weeks on June 26, the company announced on Thursday. Apple is also bringing the watch to several new countries including Italy, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, and Taiwan.

The Apple Watch has been on sale since the end of April, but you had to order the watch online.

While you could try on the watch in stores, you couldn't walk into an Apple Store and purchase a watch that day. Now, Apple says you'll be able to buy some models in physical Apple retail stores in two weeks.

Jeff Williams, Apple's senior vice president of operations, also says the company has made progress with filling online orders. All orders placed through May, with the exception of the 42mm Space Black Stainless Steel Apple Watch with the Space Black Link Bracelet, will ship within two weeks.

This comes after preorders had been delayed for several weeks, and, in some cases, even months. Some models of the Apple Watch sold out in just minutes when preorders launched on April 10, with orders pushed back to May and even June. Apple has filled some orders earlier than expected, but now it looks like it's catching up.
