While speaking at ‘Take Off’, a two-day event organised by Reliance Mutual Fund to align employees with the organisational goals, Sharma called for creating our own markets.

"If you are not making history, don't waste time. India is not a third world country, it is leading the digital race and if the solution to your problem is not mobile, it is not the last solution yet resonated with the audience,” said Sharma who spoke on ‘disruptive innovations in the financial sector’.

Several speakers were present for the event who addressed the gathering on a number of issues including mutual fund industry.

“Just like Paytm, there is a need for disruptive and unconventional thinking to propel MFs into the next orbit of growth and RMF will use technology for its investors and partners to embark on this journey," said Sundeep Sikka, CEO, RCAM.
