He's now +4 for the tournament. To make the cut, Guan needs to be within 10 strokes of the leader at the end of today, meaning no one can have a score better than -6.

The leader right now is at -4.

This year, the Masters tweaked the rules to allow more players to make the cut. The top 50 players and everyone within 10 strokes of the lead at the end of the second round would make the cut.

That's up from 44 players last year.

Guan is in 62nd place right now, so barring a mass implosion by the rest of the field, there's no way he makes it into the top 50.

But it's still possible for him to be within 10 strokes of the leader.

There are still a bunch of guys out on the course, and in all likelihood one of them will post a low number over -7 or better. But the course is playing much tougher than it was yesterday.

So there's still hope for Guan.
