At roughly 5 p.m. on Thursday, hundreds of thousands of anxious high schoolers found out if they were accepted into the Ivy League.
From a pool of 39,041 applicants, Harvard accepted 2,037 students for an acceptance rate of 5.2% - lower than last year's 5.33%.
