Pernod Richard SA announced the new device, called "The Gutenberg Project," on Tuesday.

The device comes with several dispensers that are shaped like books, each of which contains a different liquor.

Users can select a cocktail on their iPad or smartphone, and the Gutenberg app will dispense a the correct amount of liquor in their glass, and explain steps for completing the recipe.

Once the dispensers are empty, users can reorder them online for home delivery.
