The annual compensation of top Indian IT CEOs in the IT sector ranges from ₹16 crore to ₹28 crore.

One of the youngest CEOs of the Tata Group, Rajesh Gopinathan holds 2,260 equity shares of the company, as on March 2019. The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad graduate was promoted as the CEO of the company in February 2017.

Annual Remuneration: ₹22.3 crore
Recognised as the ‘Corporate Leader of the Year’ at the 14th Indo-American Corporate Excellence (I-ACE) Awards, C P Gurnani holds 0.7% stake in the company. He was also listed in the top 100 global CEOs by The Wall Street Journal CEO Council 2016.
Salil Parekh

Annual Remuneration: ₹24.67 crore
A postgraduate in engineering, Salil Parekh, the CEO and MD of Infosys has 31 years of experience in the IT industry. He was employed in Capgemini as the Director General of the company before joining Infosys.
Abidali Neemuchwala
Company: Wipro Limited
Annual Remuneration: ₹27.32 crore
Abidali Neemuchwala has been associated with Wipro since April 2015 and was elevated to the CEO’s position in February 2016. He is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.
C. Vijaykumar
Company: HCL Technologies
Annual Remuneration: ₹27.94 crore
Labelled as ‘Horses for Sources’ in the company’s Awards, C Vijayakumar joined HCL in 1994 and is presently the President and CEO of HCL technologies.
