It was only the second point the US has ever won on Mexican soil in an official game, and it came at Mexico City's notorious Azteca Stadium.
Mexico dominated the match for long stretches, but the young US centerback duo of Matt Besler and Omar Gonzalez played the best games of their international careers to save the draw.
All things considered, it was a deserved 0-0 tie for the US.
Still, Mexico feels robbed right now because of this non-call in the 75th minute.
Maurice Edu appears came from behind and knock over Mexican forward Javier Aquino in the box. He doesn't get the ball, at all.
The ESPN commentators said it should have been a penalty during the broadcast, and Alexi Lalas (a former US player and the biggest USMNT homer around) said it was a clear penalty on the postgame show.

Look, it's Mexico's fault for not putting away the US when it had the chance. On paper, this Mexican team should have comfortably beaten an inexperienced, injury-ravaged US side, especially at home.
But they objectively got jobbed on this call. Even the most ardent USMNT fan will recognize that.
