May Day rallies and marches were held worldwide on May 1, 2017.Some of the demonstrations, which are also celebrated under the International Workers' Day banner, reflected cultural traditions, and many others were a rallying cry for equal rights, equal pay, and a renewed focus on social, environmental and civil-rights issues.
