Heads up! We are minutes away from the release of preliminary results of Markit's monthly U.S. manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index survey, due out at 9:45 AM ET.

Economists predict the report's headline gauge of U.S. manufacturing conditions fell to 56.5 in March from February's 57.1 reading, indicative of a slight slowdown but continued robust pace of expansion in American manufacturing.
