HERE COMES THE FED'S FORECASTS...

REUTERS/Frank PolichAt 2:00 P.M., the Federal Reserve will release its macroeconomic predictions going forward.

All eyes will be on the Fed's forecast for its target interest rate for 2016 (currently at 0%-0.25%).

We'll also have GDP and unemployment projections.

"Perhaps the biggest wildcard will be the first glance at the FOMC's forecasts for the fed funds rate in 2016. Our guess is that the mean forecast could be as high as 2.75%-3%, which would put it significantly above current forward rates," writes SocGen's Aneta Markowska.
